Back of Beyond team raises over £1,500 for the Royal British Legion

Following on from our previous blog, we thought you might like a little update on our fundraising efforts!

We decided to raise money for the Royal British Legion for our VE Day 80th anniversary activities.

Fundraising efforts involved the Big Wartime Quiz hosted by Nathan, the live singing from our very own Pete and Play Your Cards Right (with the prize being a weekend at our campsite on a fully serviced pitch). Added to this, we made a donation of £1 for each pint of Spitfire lager sold and each glass of Prosecco sold.

The total amount raised via this, and our fundraising page was £765. As per Martin and Victoria’s promise, they have doubled the amount raised by you, our customers taking the donation so far to £1530.
