As we gear up for opening our gates again later this week, it hasn’t been all rest over our closed period. In fact, the team here have been incredibly hard at work doing a number of big projects – some of which you may have seen on our social media posts over the past few weeks. Added to this, you may have seen we’ve scooped two new awards; Silver for Campsite of the Year and Gold for Dog-Friendly Business of the Year in the Dorset Tourism Awards!

Here’s a little taster of what’s new for 2025…

Improvements to pitches

We’ve laid 600 metres of land drain in the ground to help with drainage across the park.

All our large Astroturf pitches have been converted to fully service pitches.

We have improved the Warren campervan and camping area with a new road and every pitch now has a hardstanding panel next to the astroturf panel for your vehicle.

The Warren now also has its own water station.

General park improvements

We have extended tarmac and turning areas on all the roads for ease of driving around the park.

The wildlife lakes have been worked on all winter clearing overgrowth and fallen trees.

We’ve made electrical and water infrastructure upgrades around the park.

A new coffee area outside reception will be coming in the next two months with a new upgraded coffee machine in reception as well.

All planting boxes have been extended with new planting and woodwork.

Monty’s Bar changes

Monty’s Bar has had an extension to be used as a waiting area for catering pickups and also as a permanent area for our band and music events.

We’ve installed a new bar waiting area and new furniture will arrive soon as well.

Plus, this year, we’ve added a selection of band nights into the mix, with an 80s cover band, The Vernon Principle, joining us for two different evenings.

Glamping improvements

Beach, our yurt, has had an upgrade with new furniture and electrics.

All of our glamping accommodation is now dog-friendly as well.
