Harvest Festival – Local Producers’ Market

Saturday 22 September, 10am-5pm, Ringwood Brewery, 138 Christchurch Road, BH24 3AP

Ringwood Brewery is hosting the first local producers’ market to celebrate British Food Fortnight and National Cask Ale Week. There will be local food and drink stands and the brewery bar will be open. Free mini tours will be available throughout the day. Free entry.

 

Learn Sourdough

22 September, 13 October and 20 October 10am-1.30pm at The Brewer’s Pizza, near Wimborne Market gates, Wimborne

Sourdough expert, author and chef Sharon Roberts together with Sally Grant are hosting demos for free from 10-10.30 am and then with pizza and wine tasting for £12 immediately afterwards. Watch them make pizza from scratch with a unique strain of lager yeast in a portable oven.

British Food Fortnight and Hampshire Farmers’ Market

Saturday 29 September, 10am-2pm, The Furlong, Ringwood

The Farmers’ Market brings the best of local produce to the Furlong on the last Saturday of every month. To celebrate British Food Fortnight, the September market will feature extra special tastings and live music. Shops in the Furlong will also run exclusive promotions and discounts on British products.

 

Guided walk at Furzey Gardens

Tuesday 2 October, 11am, Furzey Gardens, Minstead, New Forest

Led by local volunteers, this informal walk will highlight the special places and plants of the season. Meet at the Gallery Gift and Coffee Shop at 11am. The walk takes 1.5 hours and is free of charge, although normal Garden Entrance donation applies.
